Released two years before the Prague Spring in 1966, the innovative avant-garde Czech film “Daisies” follows two teenage girls who engage in pranks. “Daisies” was a key film in the Czech New Wave, and led to director Vera Chytilová being forbidden to work until 1975. The film is screened with Daniel Bird’s documentary “Naughty Young People”, about the making of “Dasies”.
